🥣 Falafel — Golden, crispy-on-the-outside, tender-on-the-inside chickpea balls packed with herbs and spices. You’ll learn how to get the perfect texture and flavor, and fry them to perfection.
🥣 Tahini — A creamy, nutty sauce made from toasted sesame seeds and olive oil—essential for falafel and many other dishes. We’ll prepare a light, lemony version that balances the whole meal beautifully.
🥣 Fattoush — A refreshing Lebanese salad with chopped lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and crispy toasted (or fried) pita bread. Tosses in a bright lemon (or vinegar) and sumac dressing – It is crunchy, zesty, and addictively good.
🍮 Roz bi Haleb (Rice Pudding) —A comforting, lightly sweet dessert made with milk and rice, gently scented with orange blossom or rose water, and topped with crushed nuts or cinnamon. Simple, nostalgic, and satisfying.
